Ingredients
- 3 cups desiccated coconut (700 C)
- 1/3 cup wheat germ (120 C)
- 2 tbsp sunflower seeds (197 C)
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds (201 C)
- 1/3 cup chopped almonds (160 C)
- 1 3/4 oz butter (210 C)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil (240 c)
- 3 tbsp honey (192 C)
- 1/3 cup chopped dried apricots (110 C)
- 1/3 cup chopped, dried apples (73 C)
- 1/2 cup sultana raisins (216 C)
Pre heat oven to 350°F.Mix first 6 ingredients together in a bowl. On stove melt honey, oil and butter together. Coat with first 6 ingredients, bake in pre-heated oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Cool completely. Stir in fruit. Will keep up to 4 weeks in an airtight container. P.S. You may substitute favourite dried fruit. E.g. Cranberries, peaches, etc.
